Bank of Queensland FAQ
When I try to log on to Internet Banking, I get a Security Alert.
It’s critical that you read all security warnings. The alert could mean that your PC is out of date on security patches or that you’re trying to access a site that isn’t BOQ. To guarantee that you receive the most recent security fixes, keep your operating system and browser up to date.
When I try to log on to Internet Banking, I get the notice “The details entered are invalid…”
This is most likely due to an improper combination of Customer Access Number (CAN) and Password. Please double-check that you’re using the right CAN and Password and that you’re not using CAPS LOCK.
Why am I unable to use Internet Banking?
If you can’t get to the Internet Banking Log On page after clicking on the Internet Banking link on the BOQ website, one of the following issues could be the cause:
- Your browser isn’t supported; please check the list of supported browsers and versions on the Online Banking Security page. Please make sure you’re using one of the supported browsers and that it’s up to date.
- If you’re using a suggested browser and version, the issue could be caused by changing the browser settings from default. This can occur without your knowledge, for example, if you have recently installed new anti-virus or firewall software. In order for Internet Banking to perform properly, please restore your browser’s default settings.
If I forget my Customer Access Number (CAN), what should I do?
- If you are a customer, please contact the Customer Contact Centre at 1300 55 72 72 for assistance. The Customer Contact Centre is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
- If you’re an Authoriser, go to the branch closest to you.
- You must contact the Customer, Authoriser, or Delegated User who set up your access if you are a Delegated User operating on behalf of the Customer.
What should I do if I forget my UserID?
- If you’re an Authoriser, go to the branch closest to you.
- Contact the owner of your Internet Banking Profile if you are a Delegated User.
- Please note that not all customers using Internet Banking require a User ID. If you are an Authoriser or Delegated User on one or more accounts, you will utilize a User ID.
