Previously, you had to manually convert scanned documents to PDFs, but the Notes app now performs it for you. However, you must save your scanned document to a location such as the Files app. This is how you can go about doing it.

Your scanned document will be tapped.
In the upper-right corner, tap the share icon.
Tap the app where you wish to save your PDF and follow the app’s file-saving instructions.
