Where Can I Travel To Without A Passport

Destination to travel without A passport

American Samoa is the Honduran collection of Bay Islands located between Fiji and Cook Islands, and because it is a US territory, you can travel there without a passport. Because Tutuila is still a part of the American government, American citizens can travel there without a passport, though it is located well outside of U.S. shores, between other islands in the South Pacific. Because Puerto Rico is an unincorporated U.S. territory, islanders do not require Americans from the mainland to carry passports for identification.

The island of Puerto Rico is one of the easiest Caribbean destinations to visit because you can visit many of its highlights without a U.S. passport. Puerto Rico is certainly one of the best Caribbean destinations for traveling passport-free, but many times the picture people have in their minds of Puerto Rico is Saint John.

The US Virgin Islands, which includes Saint Croix, Saint John, and Saint Thomas, is located in the Caribbean, directly to the east of Puerto Rico, and are an excellent jumping-off point for travelers looking for a more adventurous experience. Just minutes away from Puerto Rico are the three major islands of Honduras, the Bay Islands, St. Thomas, St. Croix, and St. Thomas. The U.S. Virgin Islands consists of two islands, St. Thomas and St. John, which are the ultimate Caribbean paradise getaway and require no passports to visit.

American Virgin Islands If you stick with the US Virgin Islands, which are Saint John, Saint Croix, and Saint Thomas, you will be able to enjoy your Caribbean vacation without needing a passport. US territories like Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, the Northern Mariana Islands, and Guam allow Americans to visit without passports.

The three other U.S. territories, you can visit without a passport are all located in the Pacific Ocean; American Samoa, Guam, and, most recently, the Northern Mariana
Islands.

American Samoa became known as the United States of America in 1911 and has been a passport-free destination for U.S. citizens ever since. This US territory in the South Pacific is made up of 5 islands and 2 atolls, and the landscapes and waters are comparable to Tahiti and Fiji. This U.S. island territory, located between the Caribbean and Atlantic oceans, is a melting pot of African, Spanish, Latin American, and American influences.

The U.S. Virgin Islands provide a tropical escape from the mainland United States, and you do not need a passport. Even Hawaii, which is far away from the United States with its own uniquely exotic island feel, is also still a U.S. state that does not require a U.S. passport.

You will need to show a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, when you check in at the airport. A passport is not required for entry into Puerto Rico, but it is recommended that you travel with one in case you need to fly back to the mainland United States.
